SeoCheckly analysis methodology

SeoCheckly applies 14 deterministic checks across four GEO areas to identify technical and content obstacles to AI visibility.

What the audit evaluates

The GEO audit reviews AI crawlability, structured data, authority and trust, and content structure. It is designed to identify observable signals in a public website response.

Four areas, 14 checks

  • AI crawlability: llms.txt, access rules for AI bots, and text available without a JavaScript wall.
  • Structured data: useful JSON-LD, Organization completeness, and Open Graph metadata.
  • Authority and trust: discoverable About, contact and author signals, external citations, linked social profiles, and content dates.
  • Content structure: visible FAQ patterns, semantic heading hierarchy, readable text, and brand/entity references.

How to read the result

Each check is marked pass, warning, or fail. Area scores are combined into an overall diagnostic score and a prioritized list of observable issues. The result is a starting point for improvements, not a guarantee of ranking or AI citation.

Limits

The audit does not measure private data, search ranking, traffic, conversion, editorial quality beyond observable page signals, or whether an AI system will cite a website. Search and AI systems can change independently of the audit.
